Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position located in Blumenau, SC, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the freelance business. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and securing new clients, managing ongoing projects, negotiating contracts, and ensuring services are delivered on time and to agreed quality standards. The Owner handles budgeting, basic accounting, and financial planning, as well as setting pricing structures and monitoring profitability. This role also involves developing marketing efforts, maintaining a professional online presence, and fostering long-term client relationships. The Owner is expected to make operational decisions, manage workflows, and continuously improve processes to support business growth. Qualifications • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, negotiate agreements, and deliver services that meet client expectations. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines. • Basic knowledge of business operations, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking. • Ability to develop and implement simple marketing and outreach strategies to attract and retain clients. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in en_US; additional language skills are a plus. • Comfort working independently, making decisions, and taking responsibility for outcomes. • Previous experience in freelance work, small business ownership, or project-based service delivery is highly beneficial. • Relevant education, certifications, or training in business, administration, marketing, or a related field are an advantage but not strictly required.
