The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing key supply chain processes, including materials planning, production planning, internal logistics, inventory management, and transportation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures operational efficiency, service excellence, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
• Lead and optimize end-to-end Logistics operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee materials planning, procurement replenishment, production scheduling, and inventory management to ensure business continuity and supply reliability.
• Manage warehousing, internal logistics, and transportation activities, driving seamless inbound and outbound material flows.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), service levels, productivity, and cost performance.
• Partner with regional and global Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure alignment of processes, priorities, and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and operational procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and quality initiatives across the Logistics function.
• Lead, develop, and engage teams, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting succession planning.
• Oversee audits, documentation, and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Scope of the Role
• End-to-end management of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods inventories.
• Coordination of inbound and outbound logistics flows.
• Production planning and scheduling for semi-finished and finished products.
• Inventory control, stock reconciliation, and implementation of corrective actions to maintain accuracy and service levels.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Planning, or related functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• APICS CPIM certification is considered an advantage.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of logistics management, demand planning, materials planning, and inventory control.
• Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead change, manage cross-functional teams, and drive results in complex business environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence key stakeholders.
